Francesco Chiappetta was born in Milan in 1970.
After graduation in 1992, he started to work as a freelance graphic designer and art director until he became a professional photographer in 1996. In 2006, at the request of Giorgio Armani, he created images for the book "Sheva" – a biography of the football player Andriy Shevchenko - shooting during the World Cup. Chiappetta has contributed to many charity events, including a fund-raising campaign for St. Ann’s Hospital in Turin, where he photographed the Juventus Football Team. He is the author of prestigious beachwear and underwear advertising campaigns, and his photographs have been published internationally in magazines such as Marie Claire, Italian Vogue and Vanity Fair.
Chiappetta has photographed many football players, celebrities and entertainers including Kristen Pazic, Patricia Schmid, Alena Seredova, Anna Falchi, Manuela Arcuri, Federica Fontana, Vanessa Hessler, Anna Orso, Belen Rodriguez, Elena Santarelli, Laura Barriales, Cristina Chiabotto, Fernanda Lessa, Elenoire Casalegno, Aida Yespica, Elisabetta Canalis, Luca Argentero, Ariadne Artiles, Alessandro Del Piero, Luigi Buffon, Fabio Capello, Zlatan Ibraimovich, Fabio Cannavaro and Andriy Shevchenko, among others.
